1وَٱلصَّـٰٓفَّـٰتِ صَفّٗاBy those [angels] lined up in rows2فَٱلزَّـٰجِرَٰتِ زَجۡرٗاAnd those who drive [the clouds]3فَٱلتَّـٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًاAnd those who recite the message4إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمۡ لَوَٰحِدٞIndeed, your God is One5رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِLord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises6إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلۡكَوَاكِبِIndeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars7وَحِفۡظٗا مِّن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنٖ مَّارِدٖAnd as protection against every rebellious devil8لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ وَيُقۡذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٖ[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side9دُحُورٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ وَاصِبٌRepelled; and for them is a constant punishment10إِلَّا مَنۡ خَطِفَ ٱلۡخَطۡفَةَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٞ ثَاقِبٞExcept one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]1 lecture →11فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَهُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَم مَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَآۚ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٖ لَّازِبِۭThen inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay12بَلۡ عَجِبۡتَ وَيَسۡخَرُونَBut you wonder, while they mock13وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ لَا يَذۡكُرُونَAnd when they are reminded, they remember not14وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ ءَايَةٗ يَسۡتَسۡخِرُونَAnd when they see a sign, they ridicule15وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٌAnd say, "This is not but obvious magic1 lecture →16أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَWhen we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected17أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَAnd our forefathers [as well]1 lecture →18قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَSay, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible19فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَإِذَا هُمۡ يَنظُرُونَIt will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing20وَقَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِThey will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense21هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ[They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny22۞ٱحۡشُرُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ وَأَزۡوَٰجَهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ[The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds, and what they used to worship23مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهۡدُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِOther than Allah, and guide them to the path of Hellfire24وَقِفُوهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسۡـُٔولُونَAnd stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned25مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ[They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other26بَلۡ هُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ مُسۡتَسۡلِمُونَBut they, that Day, are in surrender27وَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَAnd they will approach one another blaming each other28قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَأۡتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِThey will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right29قَالُواْ بَل لَّمۡ تَكُونُواْ مُؤۡمِنِينَThe oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers30وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيۡكُم مِّن سُلۡطَٰنِۭۖ بَلۡ كُنتُمۡ قَوۡمٗا طَٰغِينَAnd we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people31فَحَقَّ عَلَيۡنَا قَوۡلُ رَبِّنَآۖ إِنَّا لَذَآئِقُونَSo the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]32فَأَغۡوَيۡنَٰكُمۡ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَٰوِينَAnd we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators33فَإِنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَئِذٖ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُشۡتَرِكُونَSo indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment34إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَIndeed, that is how We deal with the criminals35إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوٓاْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَIndeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant36وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓاْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٖ مَّجۡنُونِۭAnd were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet37بَلۡ جَآءَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَRather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers38إِنَّكُمۡ لَذَآئِقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَلِيمِIndeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment39وَمَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَAnd you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do40إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَBut not the chosen servants of Allah1 lecture →41أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ رِزۡقٞ مَّعۡلُومٞThose will have a provision determined42فَوَٰكِهُ وَهُم مُّكۡرَمُونَFruits; and they will be honored43فِي جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِIn gardens of pleasure44عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَOn thrones facing one another45يُطَافُ عَلَيۡهِم بِكَأۡسٖ مِّن مَّعِينِۭThere will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring46بَيۡضَآءَ لَذَّةٖ لِّلشَّـٰرِبِينَWhite and delicious to the drinkers47لَا فِيهَا غَوۡلٞ وَلَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا يُنزَفُونَNo bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated48وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ عِينٞAnd with them will be women limiting [their] glances, with large, [beautiful] eyes49كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيۡضٞ مَّكۡنُونٞAs if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected50فَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ يَتَسَآءَلُونَAnd they will approach one another, inquiring of each other51قَالَ قَآئِلٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٞA speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth]52يَقُولُ أَءِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُصَدِّقِينَWho would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe53أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَThat when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed54قَالَ هَلۡ أَنتُم مُّطَّلِعُونَHe will say, "Would you [care to] look55فَٱطَّلَعَ فَرَءَاهُ فِي سَوَآءِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِAnd he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire56قَالَ تَٱللَّهِ إِن كِدتَّ لَتُرۡدِينِHe will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me57وَلَوۡلَا نِعۡمَةُ رَبِّي لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡضَرِينَIf not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell]58أَفَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَيِّتِينَThen, are we not to die59إِلَّا مَوۡتَتَنَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَExcept for our first death, and we will not be punished60إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُIndeed, this is the great attainment61لِمِثۡلِ هَٰذَا فَلۡيَعۡمَلِ ٱلۡعَٰمِلُونَFor the like of this let the workers [on earth] work16 lectures →62أَذَٰلِكَ خَيۡرٞ نُّزُلًا أَمۡ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِIs Paradise a better accommodation or the tree of zaqqum63إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰهَا فِتۡنَةٗ لِّلظَّـٰلِمِينَIndeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers64إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةٞ تَخۡرُجُ فِيٓ أَصۡلِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِIndeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire65طَلۡعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِIts emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils66فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَأٓكِلُونَ مِنۡهَا فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡبُطُونَAnd indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies67ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا لَشَوۡبٗا مِّنۡ حَمِيمٖThen indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water1 lecture →68ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرۡجِعَهُمۡ لَإِلَى ٱلۡجَحِيمِThen indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire69إِنَّهُمۡ أَلۡفَوۡاْ ءَابَآءَهُمۡ ضَآلِّينَIndeed they found their fathers astray70فَهُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمۡ يُهۡرَعُونَSo they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps71وَلَقَدۡ ضَلَّ قَبۡلَهُمۡ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَAnd there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples72وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا فِيهِم مُّنذِرِينَAnd We had already sent among them warners73فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَThen look how was the end of those who were warned74إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَBut not the chosen servants of Allah75وَلَقَدۡ نَادَىٰنَا نُوحٞ فَلَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمُجِيبُونَAnd Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders76وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِAnd We saved him and his family from the great affliction77وَجَعَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَAnd We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth]78وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَAnd left for him [favorable mention] among later generations79سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ نُوحٖ فِي ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَPeace upon Noah among the worlds80إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good81إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَIndeed, he was of Our believing servants82ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَThen We drowned the disbelievers83۞وَإِنَّ مِن شِيعَتِهِۦ لَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَAnd indeed, among his kind was Abraham84إِذۡ جَآءَ رَبَّهُۥ بِقَلۡبٖ سَلِيمٍWhen he came to his Lord with a sound heart85إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوۡمِهِۦ مَاذَا تَعۡبُدُونَ[And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship86أَئِفۡكًا ءَالِهَةٗ دُونَ ٱللَّهِ تُرِيدُونَIs it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire87فَمَا ظَنُّكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَThen what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds88فَنَظَرَ نَظۡرَةٗ فِي ٱلنُّجُومِAnd he cast a look at the stars89فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٞAnd said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill90فَتَوَلَّوۡاْ عَنۡهُ مُدۡبِرِينَSo they turned away from him, departing91فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِهِمۡ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَأۡكُلُونَThen he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat92مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنطِقُونَWhat is [wrong] with you that you do not speak93فَرَاغَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ضَرۡبَۢا بِٱلۡيَمِينِAnd he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand94فَأَقۡبَلُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِ يَزِفُّونَThen the people came toward him, hastening95قَالَ أَتَعۡبُدُونَ مَا تَنۡحِتُونَHe said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve96وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡمَلُونَWhile Allah created you and that which you do97قَالُواْ ٱبۡنُواْ لَهُۥ بُنۡيَٰنٗا فَأَلۡقُوهُ فِي ٱلۡجَحِيمِThey said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire98فَأَرَادُواْ بِهِۦ كَيۡدٗا فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡأَسۡفَلِينَAnd they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased99وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي سَيَهۡدِينِAnd [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me2 lectures →100رَبِّ هَبۡ لِي مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَMy Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous1 lecture →101فَبَشَّرۡنَٰهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ حَلِيمٖSo We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy102فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعۡيَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَيَّ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰ فِي ٱلۡمَنَامِ أَنِّيٓ أَذۡبَحُكَ فَٱنظُرۡ مَاذَا تَرَىٰۚ قَالَ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ ٱفۡعَلۡ مَا تُؤۡمَرُۖ سَتَجِدُنِيٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَAnd when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded.…8 lectures →103فَلَمَّآ أَسۡلَمَا وَتَلَّهُۥ لِلۡجَبِينِAnd when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead104وَنَٰدَيۡنَٰهُ أَن يَـٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُWe called to him, "O Abraham105قَدۡ صَدَّقۡتَ ٱلرُّءۡيَآۚ إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَYou have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good3 lectures →106إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡبَلَـٰٓؤُاْ ٱلۡمُبِينُIndeed, this was the clear trial107وَفَدَيۡنَٰهُ بِذِبۡحٍ عَظِيمٖAnd We ransomed him with a great sacrifice7 lectures →108وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَAnd We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations109سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَPeace upon Abraham110كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good111إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَIndeed, he was of Our believing servants112وَبَشَّرۡنَٰهُ بِإِسۡحَٰقَ نَبِيّٗا مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَAnd We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous113وَبَٰرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسۡحَٰقَۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحۡسِنٞ وَظَالِمٞ لِّنَفۡسِهِۦ مُبِينٞAnd We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself114وَلَقَدۡ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَAnd We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron115وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُمَا وَقَوۡمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِAnd We saved them and their people from the great affliction116وَنَصَرۡنَٰهُمۡ فَكَانُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَAnd We supported them so it was they who overcame117وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَبِينَAnd We gave them the explicit Scripture118وَهَدَيۡنَٰهُمَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَAnd We guided them on the straight path119وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمَا فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَAnd We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations120سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَPeace upon Moses and Aaron121إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good122إِنَّهُمَا مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَIndeed, they were of Our believing servants123وَإِنَّ إِلۡيَاسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَAnd indeed, Elias was from among the messengers124إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦٓ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَWhen he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah125أَتَدۡعُونَ بَعۡلٗا وَتَذَرُونَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡخَٰلِقِينَDo you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators126ٱللَّهَ رَبَّكُمۡ وَرَبَّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَAllah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers127فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَAnd they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment]128إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَExcept the chosen servants of Allah129وَتَرَكۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَAnd We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations130سَلَٰمٌ عَلَىٰٓ إِلۡ يَاسِينَPeace upon Elias131إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَIndeed, We thus reward the doers of good132إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَIndeed, he was of Our believing servants133وَإِنَّ لُوطٗا لَّمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَAnd indeed, Lot was among the messengers134إِذۡ نَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥٓ أَجۡمَعِينَ[So mention] when We saved him and his family, all135إِلَّا عَجُوزٗا فِي ٱلۡغَٰبِرِينَExcept his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]136ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَThen We destroyed the others137وَإِنَّكُمۡ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيۡهِم مُّصۡبِحِينَAnd indeed, you pass by them in the morning138وَبِٱلَّيۡلِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَAnd at night. Then will you not use reason139وَإِنَّ يُونُسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَAnd indeed, Jonah was among the messengers3 lectures →140إِذۡ أَبَقَ إِلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ[Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship141فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُدۡحَضِينَAnd he drew lots and was among the losers142فَٱلۡتَقَمَهُ ٱلۡحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٞThen the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy1 lecture →143فَلَوۡلَآ أَنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحِينَAnd had he not been of those who exalt Allah3 lectures →144لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطۡنِهِۦٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَHe would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected2 lectures →145۞فَنَبَذۡنَٰهُ بِٱلۡعَرَآءِ وَهُوَ سَقِيمٞBut We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill146وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ شَجَرَةٗ مِّن يَقۡطِينٖAnd We caused to grow over him a gourd vine147وَأَرۡسَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ مِاْئَةِ أَلۡفٍ أَوۡ يَزِيدُونَAnd We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more148فَـَٔامَنُواْ فَمَتَّعۡنَٰهُمۡ إِلَىٰ حِينٖAnd they believed, so We gave them enjoyment [of life] for a time149فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَلِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡبَنَاتُ وَلَهُمُ ٱلۡبَنُونَSo inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons150أَمۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ إِنَٰثٗا وَهُمۡ شَٰهِدُونَOr did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses151أَلَآ إِنَّهُم مِّنۡ إِفۡكِهِمۡ لَيَقُولُونَUnquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say152وَلَدَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَكَٰذِبُونَAllah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars153أَصۡطَفَى ٱلۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلۡبَنِينَHas He chosen daughters over sons154مَا لَكُمۡ كَيۡفَ تَحۡكُمُونَWhat is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement155أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَThen will you not be reminded156أَمۡ لَكُمۡ سُلۡطَٰنٞ مُّبِينٞOr do you have a clear authority157فَأۡتُواْ بِكِتَٰبِكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَThen produce your scripture, if you should be truthful158وَجَعَلُواْ بَيۡنَهُۥ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ نَسَبٗاۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمَتِ ٱلۡجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَAnd they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]159سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَExalted is Allah above what they describe160إِلَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَExcept the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]161فَإِنَّكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡبُدُونَSo indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship162مَآ أَنتُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ بِفَٰتِنِينَYou cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him163إِلَّا مَنۡ هُوَ صَالِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِExcept he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire164وَمَامِنَّآ إِلَّا لَهُۥ مَقَامٞ مَّعۡلُومٞ[The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position165وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلصَّآفُّونَAnd indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]166وَإِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُسَبِّحُونَAnd indeed, we are those who exalt Allah167وَإِن كَانُواْ لَيَقُولُونَAnd indeed, the disbelievers used to say168لَوۡ أَنَّ عِندَنَا ذِكۡرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَIf we had a message from [those of] the former peoples169لَكُنَّا عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَWe would have been the chosen servants of Allah170فَكَفَرُواْ بِهِۦۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَBut they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know171وَلَقَدۡ سَبَقَتۡ كَلِمَتُنَا لِعِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَAnd Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers172إِنَّهُمۡ لَهُمُ ٱلۡمَنصُورُونَ[That] indeed, they would be those given victory173وَإِنَّ جُندَنَا لَهُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَAnd [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome174فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖSo, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time175وَأَبۡصِرۡهُمۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُونَAnd see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see176أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَThen for Our punishment are they impatient177فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِسَاحَتِهِمۡ فَسَآءَ صَبَاحُ ٱلۡمُنذَرِينَBut when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned178وَتَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖAnd leave them for a time179وَأَبۡصِرۡ فَسَوۡفَ يُبۡصِرُونَAnd see, for they are going to see180سُبۡحَٰنَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ ٱلۡعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَExalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe181وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَى ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَAnd peace upon the messengers182وَٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَAnd praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds
