1أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِHave you not considered, [O Muhammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant2 lectures →2أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلٖDid He not make their plan into misguidance3وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَAnd He sent against them birds in flocks4تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٖ مِّن سِجِّيلٖStriking them with stones of hard clay5فَجَعَلَهُمۡ كَعَصۡفٖ مَّأۡكُولِۭAnd He made them like eaten straw
