1وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍWoe to every scorner and mocker2ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُۥWho collects wealth and [continuously] counts it3يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥHe thinks that his wealth will make him immortal4كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِNo! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher5وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُAnd what can make you know what is the Crusher6نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُIt is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled7ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِWhich mounts directed at the hearts8إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةٞIndeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them9فِي عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭIn extended columns
