فَذَرۡنِي وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِۖ سَنَسۡتَدۡرِجُهُم مِّنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
So leave Me, [O Muhammad], with [the matter of] whoever denies the Qur'an. We will progressively lead them [to punishment] from where they do not know
On the Day of Judgement when God will reveal Himself, the true believers will fall prostrate before their Lord, just as they bowed down before Him in their previous life. On this occasion, the deniers will be inspired likewise to prostrate themselves (sajdah). But the backs of the people who offered ‘false prostration’ in this world, will grow stiff just as they virtually were in this world. Such people will want to prostrate themselves at that time of realisation, but they will not be able to do so. It will be the greatest sign of God’s appreciation of sincere people of Faith that He Himself should appear and accept their offering of sajdah. On the contrary, it will be the moment of the greatest humiliation for those making false claims of Faith; in spite of their Creator and Lord being right there before them, they will not be able to do obeisance to Him.
قیامت میں جب خدا اعیاناً سامنے آجائے گا تو تمام ایمان والے لوگ اپنے رب کے سامنے سجدہ میں گر جائیں گے جس طرح وہ پچھلی زندگی میں اس کے آگے سجدہ میں گرے ہوئے تھے۔ مگر ظہورِ خداوندی کے وقت سجدہ کی یہ توفیق صرف سچے مومنین کو حاصل ہوگی۔ جو لوگ دنیا میں جھوٹا سجدہ کرتے تھے ان کی کمر اس وقت اکڑ جائے گی جس طرح باعتبار حقیقت وہ دنیا میں اکڑی ہوئی تھی۔ ایسے لوگ سجدہ کرنا چاہیں گے مگر وہ سجدہ نہ کرسکیں گے۔ یہ مخلص اہل ایمان کی سب سے بڑی قدردانی ہوگی کہ خدا خود ظاہر ہو کر ان کا سجدہ قبول کرے۔ اس کے مقابلہ میں ایمان کا جھوٹا دعوی کرنے والوں کے لیے یہ سب سے زیادہ رسوائی کا لمحہ ہوگا کہ ان کا خالق و مالک ان کے سامنے ہے اور وہ اس کے سامنے اپنی بندگی کا اقرار کرنے پر قادر نہیں۔
