إِن يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمُوهَا فَيُحۡفِكُمۡ تَبۡخَلُواْ وَيُخۡرِجۡ أَضۡغَٰنَكُمۡ
If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your unwillingness
The benefits of the world and its attractiveness act as impediments to the adoption of a life of Faith and righteousness. Man knows what kind of behaviour will lead him to success in the Hereafter. But immediate considerations overcome him and he goes astray. The fact is that God is most Merciful and Kind towards his subjects. He never demands of His subjects anything which is unbearable to them. Islam is God’s religion. But the tasks of its propagation and protection have to be carried out in this world of cause and effect by a group of human beings. Muslims constitute this group. If Muslims discharge their duty, they will demonstrate their worthiness in the eyes of God. But if they fail to discharge this duty, God will guide other nations towards the Faith and maintain the continuity of His religion through them.
ایمان اور تقوی کی زندگی اختیار کرنے میں جو چیز رکاوٹ بنتی ہے وہ دنیا کے فائدے اور دنیا کی رونقیں ہیں۔ آدمی جانتا ہے کہ وہ کون سا رویہ ہے جو آخرت میں اس کو کامیاب بنانے والا ہے۔ مگر وقتی مصلحتوں کا خیال اس کے اوپر غالب آتا ہے اور وہ بے راہ روی کی طرف چلا جاتا ہے۔ حالانکہ واقعہ یہ ہے کہ اللہ اپنے بندوں کے حق میں بے حد مہربان ہے۔ وہ کبھی انسان سے اتنا بڑا مطالبہ نہیں کرتا جو اس کے لیے ناقابل برداشت ہو۔ جس کے نتیجہ میں یہ ہو کہ اس کا بھرم کھل جائے اور اس کی چھپی ہوئی بشری کمزوریاں لوگوں کے سامنے آجائیں۔
اسلام خدا کا دین ہے۔ مگر اس کی اشاعت اور حفاظت کا کام اس عالم اسباب میں انسانی گروہ کے ذریعہ انجام پانا ہے۔ مسلمان یہی انسانی گروہ ہیں۔ مسلمان اگر اپنے فریضہ کو انجام دیں تو وہ خدا کی نظر میں باقیمت ٹھہریں گے۔ لیکن اگر وہ اس فریضہ کو انجام دینے میں ناکام رہیں تو اللہ دوسری قوموں کو ایمان کی توفیق دے گا اور ان کے ذریعہ اپنے دین کا تسلسل باقی رکھے گا۔
