وَيَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ بِٱلۡعَذَابِ وَلَوۡلَآ أَجَلٞ مُّسَمّٗى لَّجَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُۚ وَلَيَأۡتِيَنَّهُم بَغۡتَةٗ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
And they urge you to hasten the punishment. And if not for [the decree of] a specified term, punishment would have reached them. But it will surely come to them suddenly while they perceive not
Man’s deeds make his Paradise and his deeds make his Hell too. Were it possible to view the consequences of the deeds of one who had adopted the way of denial and insolence, it would be seen that his apparently great deeds actually signalled the punishment which he merited and which lay in wait for him. Death is but to come and dispatch him to the world he has built for himself. Most of a man’s arrogance is nothing more than the result of his ignorance of the reality pertaining to his own existence. If this ignorance were to be replaced by knowledge, he would become a completely different man.
انسان کے اعمال ہی اس کی جنت ہیں اور انسان کے اعمال ہی اس کی دوزخ۔ ایک شخص جوانکار اور سرکشی کا رویہ اختیار کيے ہوئے ہو، اس کی زندگی کو اگر اس کے معنوی انجام کے اعتبار سے دیکھنا ممکن ہو تو نظر آئے گا کہ اس کے برے اعمال اس کو عذاب بن کر گھیرے ہوئے ہیں۔ اور صرف اتنی سی دیر ہے کہ موت آئے اور اس کو اس کی بنائی ہوئی دنیا میں ڈال دے۔
انسان کی بہت سی سرکشی صرف اپنی حقیقت سے بے خبری کا نتیجہ ہوتی ہے۔ اگر اس کی یہ بے خبری ختم ہوجائے تو اچانک وہ بالکل دوسرا انسان بن جائے۔
