بَلۡ هُوَ ءَايَٰتُۢ بَيِّنَٰتٞ فِي صُدُورِ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَۚ وَمَا يَجۡحَدُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ إِلَّا ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ
Rather, the Qur'an is distinct verses [preserved] within the breasts of those who have been given knowledge. And none reject Our verses except the wrongdoers
There are two types of individuals—one who already possesses a knowledge of the Truth and the other who apparently does not. However, the second type also are acquainted with the Truth at the level of their inherent nature. The former are the bearers of the book, while the latter draw on the resources of their own nature. If people are really sincere and serious, they recognize the Truth immediately. One group might recognize it as a Divine Book from heaven, while the other might recognize it as a Book of Nature. To each one, the Truth will manifest itself as a matter after his own heart. But, people often become enmeshed in a variety of psychological problems, due to which they adopt a rigid attitude of denial. They go on denying the Truth, even though there may be many factors in its support, and even if many arguments are advanced in its favour.
لوگوں میں دو قسم کے افراد ہوتے ہیں۔ ایک وہ جن کو پہلے سے سچائی کا علم حاصل ہوتا ہے۔ اور دوسرے وہ لوگ جو بظاہر سچائی کا علم نہیں رکھتے۔ تاہم یہ دوسری قسم کے لوگ بھی فطرت کی سطح پر سچائی سے آشنا ہوتے ہیں۔ اول الذکر اگر حامل کتاب ہیں تو ثانی الذکر حامل فطرت۔
اگر لوگ فی الواقع سنجیدہ ہوں تو وہ فوراً حق کو پہچان لیں گے۔ ایک گروہ اگر اس کو کتابِ آسمانی کی سطح پر پہچان لے گا تو دوسرا گروہ کتابِ فطرت کی سطح پر۔ ہر ایک کو سچائی کی بات اپنے دل کی بات نظر آئے گی۔ مگر اکثر حالات میں لوگ طرح طرح کی نفسیاتی پیچیدگی میں مبتلا ہوجاتے ہیں۔ اس کی وجہ سے ان کے اندر انکار کا مزاج آجاتاہے۔ وہ سچائی کا انکار ہی کرتے رہتے ہیں، خواہ اس کی پشت پر کتنے ہی قرائن جمع ہوں اور اس کے حق میں کتنے ہی زیادہ دلائل دے دئے جائیں۔
