عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
About what are they asking one another
The Arab people were not disbelievers in the Hereafter. But they did not believe in a Hereafter of such a nature as is mentioned in the Quran. In other words, they doubted that by rejecting Muhammad, they would face degradation and humiliation in the world of the Hereafter.
دنیا میں سرکشی انسان کو بہت لذیذ معلوم ہوتی ہے کیوں کہ وہ اس کی انا کو تسکین دیتی ہے۔ مگر انسان کی سرکشی جب آخرت میں اپنی اصل حقیقت کے اعتبار سے ظاہر ہوگی تو صورت حال بالکل مختلف ہوجائے گی۔ جس چیز سے آدمی دنیا میں لذت لیا کرتا تھا، اب وہ اس کے لیے ایک بھیانک عذاب بن جائے گي۔
