لَوَّاحَةٞ لِّلۡبَشَرِ
Blackening the skins
The conditions of hell described in the Quran relate to the unseen and hidden world. There being nineteen angels in hell is also a fact of a similar nature. If one resorts to hair-splitting, these matters will only increase one’s doubts. But if the way of complete faith is adopted, these matters will increase one’s fear of the Hereafter.
جہنم کے احوال جو قرآن میں بتائے گئے ہیں وہ سب اَن دیکھی دنیا سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں۔ جہنم میں 19 فرشتوں کا ہونا بھی اسی نوعیت کی چیز ہے۔ آدمی اگر موشگافی کرے تو یہ چیزیں اس کے شبہات میں اضافہ کریں گی۔ لیکن اگر مجمل ایمان کا طریقہ اختیار کیا جائے تو اس قسم کی باتوں سے آدمی کے خوفِ آخرت میں اضافہ ہوگا۔
