أَمۡ أَمِنتُم مَّن فِي ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ حَاصِبٗاۖ فَسَتَعۡلَمُونَ كَيۡفَ نَذِيرِ
Or do you feel secure that He who [holds authority] in the heaven would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning
Birds flying in the air, the emergence of man’s sustenance from the soil and similar events are most wonderful. If one gives serious consideration to such things, one will become caught up in the realisation of God. But man is so forgetful that he indulges in arrogance in a world in which the natural phenomena visible all around him ought to teach him the lesson of obedience to God.
زمین پر ہر چیز نہایت توازن کی حالت میں ہے۔ اسی توازن نے زمین کو انسان کے لیے قابلِ رہائش بنا رکھا ہے۔ اس توازن میں اگر معمولی سا بھی فرق پڑجائے تو انسان کی زندگی برباد ہو کر رہ جائے۔ جو متوازن دنیا میں ہمیں حاصل ہے اس پر اللہ کا شکر ادا کرنا، اور توازن ٹوٹنے کی صورت میں جو تباہ کن حالات پیدا ہوسکتے ہیں اس کے لیے اللہ سے پناہ مانگنا، یہی وہ چیز ہے جو انسان سے اللہ تعالیٰ کو مطلوب ہے۔
