يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَلۡتَنظُرۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ لِغَدٖۖ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ
O you who have believed, fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do
Human life is divided into two parts: ‘today’ and ‘tomorrow’. The present world is a man’s ‘today’ and the world of the Hereafter is man’s ‘tomorrow’. Whatever a man does in the present world, he has to face the basic consequences in the ensuing longer life. This is the truth and the other name for it is Islam. Man’s success depends upon his always keeping this reality in mind. The whole life of one who is forgetful of this, will go wrong. In this matter, there is no difference between a believer or a non-believer. Believers will have the advantage only if they acknowledge realities. If they become forgetful of them, they will also meet the same fate as their precursors.
انسانی زندگی کو ’’آج‘‘ اور ’’کل‘‘ کے درمیان تقسیم کیا گیا ہے۔ موجودہ دنیا انسان کا آج ہے اور آخرت کی دنیا اس کا کل ہے۔ انسان موجودہ دنیا میں جو کچھ کرے گا اس کا لازمی انجام اس کو آنے والی طویل تر زندگی میں بھگتنا پڑے گا۔
یہی اصل حقیقت ہے اور اسی حقیقت کا دوسرا نام اسلام ہے۔ انسان کی کامیابی اس میں ہے کہ وہ اس حقیقتِ واقعی کو ہمیشہ ذہن میں رکھے۔ جو شخص اس حقیقت واقعی سے غافل ہوجائے اس کی پوری زندگی غلط ہو کر رہ جائے گی۔ اس معاملہ میں مسلمان اور غیر مسلمان کا کوئی فرق نہیں۔ مسلمانوں کو اس کا فائدہ اسی وقت ملے گا جب کہ واقعۃً وہ اس پر قائم ہوں۔ مسلمان اگر غفلت میں پڑجائیں تو ان کا انجام بھی وہی ہوگا جو اس سے پہلے غفلت میں پڑنے والے یہود کا ہوا۔
