فَعَتَوۡاْ عَنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّهِمۡ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّـٰعِقَةُ وَهُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ
But they were insolent toward the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on
People displaying such arrogance in the face of the Truth never escape God’s scourge. Pharaoh was killed for this reason, and the communities of ‘Ad, Thamud, and Noah were also destroyed for this very reason. They were given some benefit in this world, it being the test period. Beyond this small benefit they were destined not to receive any other.
فرعون مصر نے حضرت موسیٰ کے معجزوں کو جادو قرار دیا۔ آپ کا وہ یقین جو آپ کے برسر حق ہونے کو ظاہر کر رہا تھا اس کو اس نے جنون سے تعبیر کیا تھا۔ اسی کا نام تلبیس ہے۔ اور یہي تلبیس ہمیشہ ان لوگوں کا طریقہ رہا ہے جو دلیل کے باوجود حق کو ماننے پر تیار نہیں ہوتے۔
حق کے مقابلہ میں اس قسم کی سرکشی کرنے والے لوگ کبھی خدا کی پکڑ سے نہیں بچتے۔ فرعون اسی بنا پر ہلاک کیا گیا۔ اور قوم عاد اور قوم ثمود اور قوم نوح بھی اسی بنا پر تباہ و برباد کردی گئی۔ ایسے لوگوں کے لیے خدا کی دنیا میں کوئی اور فائدہ اس تھوڑے سے فائدہ کے سوا مقدر نہیں جو امتحان کی مصلحت کے تحت انہیں محدود مدت کے لیے حاصل ہوا تھا۔
