وَيَوۡمَ يُعۡرَضُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ أَذۡهَبۡتُمۡ طَيِّبَٰتِكُمۡ فِي حَيَاتِكُمُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱسۡتَمۡتَعۡتُم بِهَا فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ تُجۡزَوۡنَ عَذَابَ ٱلۡهُونِ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَبِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَفۡسُقُونَ
And the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire [it will be said], "You exhausted your pleasures during your worldly life and enjoyed them, so this Day you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation because you were arrogant upon the earth without right and because you were defiantly disobedient
The Truth appears before a man, but, unwilling to relinquish worldly goals and material gain, he rejects it. This means that he sets worldly interests above the exigencies of the Hereafter; he wants to pursue the attractions of this world rather than seek the good things of the afterlife. Then, when he is required to demolish the structure of self-aggrandisement in order to accept the Truth, he prefers to reject it, so as to save his empty prestige: after all, he relishes the feeling of being a great man. At that point, in effect, he shows his preference for the enticements of this world over the blessings of the Hereafter, treating them as unworthy of consideration.
ايك شخص كے سامنے حق آتا هے اور وه دنيوي مصلحت اور مادي مفاد كي خاطر اس كو اختيار نهيں كرتا۔ اس كا مطلب يه هے كه اس نے آخرت كے مقابله ميں دنيا كو اهميت دي۔ اس نے طيبات آخرت كے مقابله ميں طيبات دنيا كو اپنے ليے پسند كرليا۔
اسي طرح اپني بڑائي كا احساس آدمي كے لیے بے حد لذيذ چيز هے۔ جب ايسا هو كه اپني بڑائي كا گھروندا توڑ كر حق كو قبول كرنا هو اور آدمي اپني بڑائي كو بچانے كے ليے حق كو قبول نه كرے، اس وقت بھي گويا اس نے طيبات دنيا كو ترجيح دي اور طيبات آخرت كو ناقابل لحاظ سمجھ كر چھوڑ ديا۔
ايسے تمام لوگ جنھوں نے دنيا كي طيبات كي خاطر آخرت كي طيبات كو نظر انداز كيا وه آخرت ميں ذلّت كے عذاب سے دوچار هوں گے۔ جس كا عمل جس درجه كا هوگا اسي كے بقدر وه اپنے عمل كا انجام آخرت ميں پائے گا۔
