وَلَكُمۡ فِيهَا مَنَٰفِعُ وَلِتَبۡلُغُواْ عَلَيۡهَا حَاجَةٗ فِي صُدُورِكُمۡ وَعَلَيۡهَا وَعَلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ تُحۡمَلُونَ
And for you therein are [other] benefits and that you may realize upon them a need which is in your breasts; and upon them and upon ships you are carried
Man needs many things for the upkeep of his existence and the development of human civilization, such as food, mounts, different types of industries, means of transportation etc. All these things exist in plenty in the present world. God has created the physical world in such a way that it is subservient and capable of being used by man for meeting his requirements. All these things are, so to say, signs from God. Though this declaration is in indirect language, it is in man’s interest to understand it, because when God resorts to direct communication, it will mark the end of the period allowed for the performance of good or bad deeds and not the beginning.
انسان کو اپنی زندگی اور تمدن کےلیے بہت سی چیزوں کی ضرورت ہے۔ مثلاً غذا، سواری، مختلف قسم کی صنعتیں، سامان کو ایک جگہ سے دوسری جگہ لے جانا۔ یہ سب چیزیں موجودہ دنیا میں وافر مقدار میں موجود ہیں۔ خدا نے دنیا کی چیزوں کو اس طرح بنایا ہے وہ ہمیشہ انسان کے تابع رہیں اور انسان ان کو اپنی ضرورتوں کےلیے جس طرح چاہے استعمال کرسکے۔
یہ تمام چیزیں گویا خدا کی نشانیاں ہیں۔ وہ غیبی حقیقتوں کا مادی زبان میں اعلان کررہی ہیں۔ یہ اعلان اگرچہ بالواسطہ زبان میں ہے مگر انسان کا بھلا اسی میں ہے کہ وہ بالواسطہ زبان میں کہی ہوئی بات کو سمجھے۔ کیوں کہ خدا جب براہِ راست زبان میں کلام کرے تو وہ مہلتِ عمل کے ختم ہونے کا اعلان ہوتا ہے، نہ کہ عمل شروع کرنے کا۔
