ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيۡلَ لِتَسۡكُنُواْ فِيهِ وَٱلنَّهَارَ مُبۡصِرًاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَذُو فَضۡلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَشۡكُرُونَ
It is Allah who made for you the night that you may rest therein and the day giving sight. Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of the people are not grateful
The alternation of night and day and the existence of other life-sustaining processes on earth is too perfect and too great to have been brought into existence by any human being, or even by all God’s creatures put together. This is a clear argument which urges that the Creator is the only one who is worthy of being worshipped. Man should bow down only before Him and entertain hopes solely of Him. But, all too frequently, human beings are unable to establish any real relationship of worship and prayer with the Creator of the Universe because of being involved with someone or something other than God. Some are engaged in the worship of living or dead personalities, while others are totally occupied with themselves. Time and again, God reveals arguments which contradict such wrongful practices, but man ignores them, hiding behind false justification. All such behaviour amounts to a lack of appreciation for the Creator of the Universe, and those who degrade Him will find no place for themselves except in hell.
زمین پر رات اوردن کا باقاعدہ نظام اور اس طرح کے دوسرے حیات بخش واقعات اس سے زیادہ بڑے ہیں کہ کوئی انسان یا تمام مخلوقات مل کر بھی ان کو ظہور میں لاسکیں۔ یہ ایک کھلا ہوا قرینہ ہے جو بتاتا ہے کہ جو خالق ہے وہی اس لائق ہے کہ اس کو معبود بنایا جائے۔ آدمی کو چاہيے کہ اسی کے آگے جھکے اوراسی سے امیدیں قائم کرے۔
مگر آدمی خالقِ کائنات سے عبادت اور دعا کا حقیقی تعلق قائم نہیں کرپاتا۔ اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ وہ کسی غیر خالق میں اٹکا ہوا ہوتاہے۔ کچھ لوگ زندہ یا مردہ بتوں میں اٹکے ہوئے ہوتے ہیں جس کو شرک کہا جاتا ہے۔ اور کچھ لوگ خود اپنی ذات میں اٹکے ہوئے ہوتے ہیں جس کا دوسرا نام کبر ہے۔ خدا بار بار ایسے دلائل ظاہر کرتا ہے جو اس فریب کی تردید کرنے والے ہوں۔ مگر انسان کوئی نہ کوئی جھوٹی توجیہ کرکے انھیں نظر انداز کردیتاہے۔
اس قسم کا ہر رویہ خالق کائنات کی ناقدری ہے۔ اور جو لوگ خالق کائنات کی ناقدری کریں وہ جہنم کے سوا کہیں اور جگہ نہیں پاسکتے۔
