يَٰقَوۡمِ لَكُمُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ ظَٰهِرِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَمَن يَنصُرُنَا مِنۢ بَأۡسِ ٱللَّهِ إِن جَآءَنَاۚ قَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ مَآ أُرِيكُمۡ إِلَّا مَآ أَرَىٰ وَمَآ أَهۡدِيكُمۡ إِلَّا سَبِيلَ ٱلرَّشَادِ
O my people, sovereignty is yours today, [your being] dominant in the land. But who would protect us from the punishment of Allah if it came to us?" Pharaoh said, "I do not show you except what I see, and I do not guide you except to the way of right conduct
The true believer mentioned here was a member of the royal family of Pharaoh and was probably one of the high-ranking officials of the court. This venerable gentleman had been influenced by Moses’ call to the Unity of God. However, he had kept his faith a secret. But, when he saw that Pharaoh intended to kill Moses, he openly came to his support. He defended Moses in a very wise and effective manner. This event teaches us that the dawah process is in itself a power which creates its sympathisers and supporters in the camp of dire opponents also, even if the enemy be as tyrannical as Pharaoh.
یہاں جس رجل مومن کا ذکر ہے وہ فرعون کے شاہی خاندان کا ایک فرد تھا اورغالباً وہ دربار کے اعلیٰ عہدیداروں میں سے تھا۔ یہ بزرگ حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام کی دعوتِ توحید سے متاثر ہوئے۔ تاہم وہ ایمان چھپائے ہوئے تھے۔ مگر جب انھوںنے دیکھا کہ فرعون حضرت موسیٰ کو قتل کرنے کا ارادہ کررہا ہے تو وہ کھل کر حضرت موسیٰ کی حمایت پر آگئے۔ انھوںنے نہایت مؤثر اور نہایت حکیمانہ انداز میں حضرت موسیٰ کی مدافعت فرمائی۔
اس واقعہ میں ایک نصیحت یہ ہے کہ تبلیغ ایک ایسی طاقت ہے کہ خود دشمن کی صفوں میں اپنے ہمدرد اور ساتھی پیدا کرلیتی ہے، خواہ وہ دشمن خاندان فرعون جیسا ظالم اور متکبر کیوں نہ ہو۔
