قَالُواْ رَبَّنَآ أَمَتَّنَا ٱثۡنَتَيۡنِ وَأَحۡيَيۡتَنَا ٱثۡنَتَيۡنِ فَٱعۡتَرَفۡنَا بِذُنُوبِنَا فَهَلۡ إِلَىٰ خُرُوجٖ مِّن سَبِيلٖ
They will say, "Our Lord, You made us lifeless twice and gave us life twice, and we have confessed our sins. So is there to an exit any way
God has showered His mercy in the form of guidance. But, people in general have not accepted it. As a result in the Hereafter, the rejecters of guidance will be completely deprived of God’s grace. In the world, they ignored God’s grace. In the Hereafter, God’s grace will pass them by. At that time, those who deny the truth will say, ‘O God! You created us from the earth, that is, we were lifeless and you infused life into us. Afterwards, when our lifespan was over, we became lifeless for the second time. Now we have been raised again in the world of the Hereafter. In this way, you have twice given us life and twice given us death. Now, if you give us a third opportunity and send us back into the world, we will admit the Truth and live a life full of righteous deeds.’ But, this request of theirs will not be heard, because they proved that they could not recognise the Truth when it was hidden from their eyes. They were capable of recognising only so-called gods. They did not have the ability to recognise the real invisible God, and such people who are enamoured by outward appearances have no value in the eyes of God.
موجودہ دنیا میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہدایت کی شکل میں اپنی رحمت بھیجی۔ مگر لوگوں نے اس کو قبول نہیں کیا۔ اس کا انجام آخرت میں یہ سامنے آئے گا کہ اس قسم کے لوگ اللہ کی رحمت سے بالکل محروم کردئے جائیںگے۔ دنیا میں انھوں نے خدا کی رحمت کو نظر انداز کیا تھا، آخرت میں خدا کی رحمت انھیں نظر انداز کردے گی۔
اس وقت انکار کرنے والے لوگ کہیں گے کہ خدایا، تو نے ہم کو مٹی سے پیدا کیا۔ گویا کہ ہم مُردہ تھے پھر تو نے ہمارے اندر جان ڈالی۔ اس کے بعد اپنی عمر پوری کرکے دوسری بار ہم پر موت آئی۔ اور اب ہم دوبارہ آخرت کی دنیا میں اٹھائے گئے ہیں۔ اس طرح تو ہم کو دوبارموت اور دوبار زندگی دے چکا ہے۔ اب اگر تو ہم کو تیسرا موقع دے اور پھر ہم کو دنیا میں بھیج دے کہ ہم وہاں رہیں اور پھر مر کر عالم آخرت میں حاضر ہوں تو ہم وہاں تیری سچائی کا اعتراف کریں گے اور نیک عمل کی زندگی گزاریں گے۔
مگر ان کی یہ درخواست سنی نہیں جائے گی۔ کیوں کہ انھوں نے اپنے بارے میں یہ ثبوت دیا کہ وہ سچائی کا ادراک اس وقت نہیں کرسکتے جب کہ سچائی ابھی غیب میں چھپی ہوئی ہو۔ وہ صرف ظاہری خداؤں کو پہچان سکتے ہیں، وہ غیبی خدا کو پہچاننے کی صلاحیت نہیں رکھتے۔ اور خدا کے یہاں ایسے ظاہر پرستوں کی کوئی قیمت نہیں۔
