كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَيۡكَ مُبَٰرَكٞ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓاْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded
Solomon, the son of David was the ruler of a great empire. Once the thoroughbred horses of his army were brought before him and a race was held. The galloping horses moved further and further away until they were out of sight. This was a magnificent moment upon witnessing which, an ordinary man would have become full of pride and vanity. But Solomon started remembering God. He said that he had not chosen these horses to flaunt his grandeur, but only for the sake of God. In the shape of the horses, he could discern the great workmanship of God, and by way of appreciating the greatness of God, he started to stroke the necks and legs of the horses. A believer, therefore, has the ability to observe the glory of God in everything, while a non-believer remains entrapped in the false notions of self-glory.
دنیا کی چیزوں پر غور کیجيے تو معلوم ہوتاہے کہ اس کا پورا نظام نہایت حکیمانہ بنیادوں پر قائم ہے حالانکہ یہ بھی ممکن تھا کہ وہ ایک الل ٹپ نظام ہو اور اس میں کوئی بات یقینی نہ ہو۔ دو امکان میں سے ایک مناسب تر امکان کا پایا جانا اس بات کا قرینہ ہے کہ اس دنیا کو پیدا کرنے والے نے اس کو ایک با مقصد منصوبہ کے تحت بنایا ہے۔ پھر جو دنیا اپنی ابتدا میں بامقصد ہو وہ اپنی انتہا میں بے مقصد کیوں کر ہوجائے گی۔
اسی طرح اس دنیا میں ہر آدمی آزاد اور خود مختار ہے۔مشاہدہ دوبارہ بتاتا ہے کہ لوگوں میں کوئی شخص وہ ہے جو حقیقت کا اعتراف کرتاہے اور اپنے اختیار سے اپنے آپ کو سچائی اور انصاف کا پابند بناتاہے۔ اس کے مقابلہ میں دوسرا شخص وہ ہے جو حقیقت کا اعتراف نہیں کرتا۔ وہ بے قید ہو کر جو چاہے بولتا ہے اور جس طرح چاہے عمل کرتاہے۔ عقل اس کو تسلیم نہیں کرتی کہ جب یہاں دو قسم کے انسان ہیں تو ان کا انجام یکساں ہو کر رہ جائے۔
دنیا کی اس صورت حال کو سامنے رکھا جائے تو زندگی کے متعلق قرآن کا بیان ہی زیادہ مطابق حال نظر آئے گا، نہ کہ ان لوگوں کا بیان جو زندگی کی تشریح اس کے برعکس انداز میں کرنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں۔
