وَءَايَةٞ لَّهُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ ٱلۡمَيۡتَةُ أَحۡيَيۡنَٰهَا وَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مِنۡهَا حَبّٗا فَمِنۡهُ يَأۡكُلُونَ
And a sign for them is the dead earth. We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they eat
The accumulation of fertile soil on the surface of the earth; the provision of water, sun and air and the potential in the seed to germinate and grow—these and other such innumerable known and unknown factors combine to produce the food-grains, fruits and vegetables which nourish human beings. This entire system of nature is not the handiwork of man. Its existence and sustenance clearly illustrate the grace of the Creator. Thoughtfully pondering over these facts would overwhelm man with gratitude towards God. Studies show that the ‘principle of pairing’ is in operation in all the things of this world. When the system of this universe is based on the principle that all objects achieve completion by way of pairing, the present world by this logic should also have its counterpart. This crucial insight establishes the possibility of a Hereafter.
زمین کی سطح پر زرخیز مٹی کا جمع ہونا، اس کےلیے پانی اور دھوپ اور ہوا کا انتظام، پھر بیج کے اندر نشوونما کی صلاحیت، اس طرح کے بے شمار معلوم اور غیر معلوم اسباب ہیں جو بالآخر غلہ اور پھل اور سبزی کی شکل اختیار کرکے انسان کی خوراک بنتے ہیں۔ یہ پورا نظام انسان کے بنائے بغیر بنا ہے۔ اس کو وجود میں لانا اور اس کو قائم رکھنا سراسر خدا کی رحمت سے ہوتا ہے۔ اگر انسان اس پر سوچے تو وہ شکر کے جذبہ سے بھر جائے ۔
پھر اسی نظام میں ایک عظیم تر حقیقت کی نشانی بھی موجود ہے۔ مطالعہ بتاتا ہے کہ دنیا کی تمام چیزوں میں جوڑے کا اصول کارفرما ہے۔ پھر جب کائنات کا نظام اس اصول پر قائم ہے کہ یہاں تمام چیزیں اپنے جوڑے کے ساتھ مل کر اپنی تکمیل کریں تو موجودہ دنیا کا بھی ایک جوڑا ہونا چاہيے جس کے ملنے سے اس کی تکمیل ہوتی ہو۔ اس طرح موجودہ دنیا میں جوڑے کانظام آخرت کے امکان کو ثابت کردیتاہے۔
