فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ لَا يَمۡلِكُ بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٖ نَّفۡعٗا وَلَا ضَرّٗا وَنَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ
But today you do not hold for one another [the power of] benefit or harm, and We will say to those who wronged, "Taste the punishment of the Fire, which you used to deny
Angels are not visible to human beings. It was the prophets who told human beings of the angels. This they did as they wanted the people to realize the majesty of God and devote themselves to prayers. But, Satan, in his devious manner, misled them by saying that it was difficult to achieve nearness to God directly and, as such, they should first worship the angels and through them come near to God. So, throughout the world, idols of angels were set up and worshipped. The concept of gods and goddesses stems in fact from this perverse belief in angels. For example the angel who was appointed for rains was considered the rain-god; and the angel for winds was taken as the god of winds, etc. In the Hereafter, the angels will dissociate themselves from such worshippers and neither God nor the angels will give them any support. Such people will become eternally helpless.
فرشتے انسان کو نظر نہیں آتے۔ یہ دراصل پیغمبر ہیں جنھوںنے انسان کو فرشتوں کے وجود کی خبر دی۔ یہ خبر انھیں اس ليے دی گئی تھی کہ وہ خدا کے عظمت وجلال کو محسوس کریں اور پوری طرح اس کی عبادت میں لگ جائیں۔ مگر شیطان نے عجیب وغریب طورپر لوگوں کو سکھایا کہ براہِ راست خدا کا تقرب حاصل کرنا مشکل ہے۔ اس ليے انھیں چاہيے کہ وہ فرشتوں کی عبادت کریں اور ان کے ذریعے سے خدا کا تقرب حاصل کریں۔ چنانچہ ساری دنیا میں فرشتوں کے بت بنا کر ان کی عبادت شروع کردی گئی۔ دیوی دیوتاؤں کا عقیدہ بھی دراصل فرشتوں ہی کی بگڑی ہوئی شکل ہے۔ جو فرشتہ بارش پر مقرر تھا اس کو بارش کا دیوتا سمجھ لیاگيا۔ جو فرشتہ ہوا پر مقرر تھا اس کو ہوا کا دیوتا سمجھ لیاگيا، وغیرہ۔
فرشتے آخرت میں ایسے عبادت گزاروں سے برأت ظاہر کریں گے۔ آخرت میں ان کو نہ خدا کی مدد حاصل ہوگی اور نہ فرشتوں کی۔ وہ ہمیشہ کےلیے بے یارومددگار ہوکر رہ جائیں گے۔
