ضَرَبَ لَكُم مَّثَلٗا مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡۖ هَل لَّكُم مِّن مَّا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُكُم مِّن شُرَكَآءَ فِي مَا رَزَقۡنَٰكُمۡ فَأَنتُمۡ فِيهِ سَوَآءٞ تَخَافُونَهُمۡ كَخِيفَتِكُمۡ أَنفُسَكُمۡۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لِقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ
He presents to you an example from yourselves. Do you have among those whom your right hands possess any partners in what We have provided for you so that you are equal therein [and] would fear them as your fear of one another [within a partnership]? Thus do We detail the verses for a people who use reason
If there is common property, all those who share it have a right to it, and every partner has to think of the other partners. But, God’s position is not of this kind. God alone is the Lord of the entire Universe. The relation between God and His creatures is the same as that between master and servant on a larger scale, and not that of sharers of a property. Nobody gives his servant a status equal to that of himself. Similarly there is no one in the entire universe who enjoys a status equal to that of God. Lordship is for God, while for all other creatures there is only subjection. Apart from this, any other equation propounded will be based only on supposition and not on any real ground.
ایک مشترک مال یا جائداد ہو تو اس میں اس کے تمام شرکاء کا حق ہوتاہے اور ہر شریک کو دوسرے شریک کا لحاظ رکھنا پڑتا ہے۔ مگرخدا کا معاملہ اس قسم کا معاملہ نہیں۔ خدا تنہا تمام کائنات کا مالک ہے۔ خداکےلیے صحیح مثال آقا اور غلام کی ہے، نہ کہ شرکاء جائداد کی۔ خدا اور اس کی مخلوقات کے درمیان زیادہ بڑے پیمانے پر وہی نسبت ہے جو ایک آقا اور ایک غلام کے درمیان پائی جاتی ہے۔ کوئی شخص اپنے غلام یا نوکر کو اپنے برابر کا درجہ نہیں دیتا۔ اسی طرح کائنات میں کوئی بھی نہیں ہے جس کو خدا کے ساتھ برابری کی حیثیت حاصل ہو۔ خدا کی طرف صرف آقائی ہے اور بقیہ مخلوقات کی طرف صرف محکومی اور غلامی۔
مخلوقات کا اپنے اپنے تخلیقی نظام کا پابند ہونا بتاتا ہے کہ خدا اور مخلوقات کے درمیان صحیح نسبت آقا اور غلام کی ہے۔ اس کے سوا جو نسبت بھی قائم کی جائے گی اس کی بنیاد محض انسانی مفروضے پر ہوگی، نہ کہ کسی واقعی دلیل پر۔
