وَلَئِن سَأَلۡتَهُم مَّن نَّزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَحۡيَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَوۡتِهَا لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُۚ قُلِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ
And if you asked them, "Who sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness?" they would surely say " Allah." Say, "Praise to Allah "; but most of them do not reason
Creating the earth and the sky was such a major event that only Almighty God could perform it. The movement of the sun and moon, the falling of rain and the sprouting of greenery from the soil of the earth are phenomena too great to have been brought into existence by anybody other than God. Those who indulge in polytheism do not themselves believe that they have brought these great wonders into existence. In spite of this, many people worship beings others than God in the hope that they will increase their worldly blessings. However, when all powers are vested in God, who else but He can exert influence on the distribution of the daily sustenance?
زمین و آسمان کو پیدا کرنا اتنا بڑا واقعہ ہے کہ ایک قادر مطلق خدا ہی اس کو انجام دے سکتا ہے۔ سورج اور چاند کی گردش، بارش کا برسنا اور زمین سے نباتات کا ا گنا یہ سب اس سے زیادہ بڑے واقعات ہیں کہ کوئی غیر خدا ان کو وجود میں لاسکے۔
جو لوگ کسی نوعیت کے شرک میں مبتلا ہیں وہ بھی اپنی مفروضہ ہستیوں کے بارے میں یہ عقیدہ نہیں رکھتے کہ وہ ان عظیم واقعات کو ظہور میں لائے ہیں۔ اس کے باوجود بہت سے لوگ خدا کے سوا دوسروں کی اس امید میں پرستش کرتے ہیں کہ وہ ان کا رزق بڑھا دیں گے۔ حالاں کہ جب ہر قسم کے اعلیٰ اختیارات صرف خدا کو حاصل ہیں تو دوسرا کون ہے جو رزق کی تقسیم میں اثر انداز ہوسکے۔
