أَوَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَمۡ أَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوۡجٖ كَرِيمٍ
Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind
The sprouting of a green and flourishing tree from the earth is as wonderful an event as the sudden emergence of a camel from the earth and its starting to walk on its surface. People are wonder-struck by the second type of incident, though the more wonderful incidents are always happening on the earth without their learning any lesson from it. Almighty God wants man to notice the extraordinary but hidden aspects of ordinary events. In the events happening in the chain of cause and effect, he should be able to observe the direct role of God. Those who display this high degree of insight are the ones who will be treated as having faith in God and the ones who will be blessed with the eternal grace of God.
مٹی کے اندر سے ہرے بھرے درخت کا نکلنا اتنا ہی عجیب ہے جتنا یہ واقعہ کہ مٹی کے اندر سے اچانک ایک زندہ اونٹ نکل آئے اور زمین پرچلنے پھرنے لگے۔ لوگ دوسری قسم کے واقعہ کو دیکھ کر حیران ہوتے ہیں۔ حالاں کہ اس سے زیادہ بڑا واقعہ ہر وقت زمین پر ہورہا ہے۔ مگر اس میں انھیں کوئی سبق نہیں ملتا۔
اللہ تعالیٰ کو انسان سے جو چیز مطلوب ہے وہ یہ ہے کہ وہ معمولی واقعات میں چھپے ہوئے غیر معمولی پہلوؤں کو دیکھے۔ وہ اسباب کے تحت پیش آنے والے واقعہ میں خدا کی براہِ راست کارفرمائی کا مشاہدہ کرلے۔ جو لوگ اس اعلیٰ بصیرت کا ثبوت دیں وہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو خدا پر ایمان لانے والے ہیں۔ اور وہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو خدا کی ابدی رحمتوں میں داخل کئے جائیں گے۔
