أَلَآ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ قَدۡ يَعۡلَمُ مَآ أَنتُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ وَيَوۡمَ يُرۡجَعُونَ إِلَيۡهِ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُواْۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمُۢ
Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth. Already He knows that upon which you [stand] and [knows] the Day when they will be returned to Him and He will inform them of what they have done. And Allah is Knowing of all things
The commandment to obey the Prophet of God was directly applicable to his contemporaries and subsequently became applicable to all believing men and women. Those who avoid devoting any efforts to collective affairs may think that they are strengthening their individual interests by not wasting their time on matters which are the concern of the entire community. But any group, which loses its collectivism, makes itself vulnerable to its enemies. The destruction that follows is of a general nature and the harm so caused affects everybody. It does not spare even those who were under the impression that they had made themselves safe by giving full attention to their own matters.
یہاں جس اطاعتِ رسول کا ذکر ہے اس کا تعلق رسول کی زندگی میں رسول سے تھا۔ رسول کے بعد اس کا تعلق ہر اس شخص سے ہے جو مسلمانوں کے معاملہ کا ذمہ دار بنایا جائے۔
اجتماعی معاملات میں اپنا حصہ ادا کرنے سے جو لوگ کترائیں وہ بطور خود یہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ وہ اجتماعی کام میں وقت ضائع نہ کرکے اپنے انفرادی معاملہ کو مضبوط کررہے ہیں۔ مگر جو گروہ اجتماعیت کو کھو دے اس کے دشمن اس کے اندر گھسنے کی راہ پالیتے ہیں۔ اس طرح جو بربادی آتی ہے وہ اپنے نتیجہ کے اعتبار سے عمومی بربادی ہوتی ہے۔ اس کا نقصان ہر ایک کو پہنچتا ہے، حتی کہ اس کو بھی جو یہ سمجھ رہا تھا کہ اس نے ذاتی معاملات میں پوری توجہ لگا کر اپنے آپ کو محفوظ کرلیا ہے۔
آدمی جب اس قسم کی کمزوری دکھاتا ہے تو بطور خود وہ سمجھتا ہے کہ وہ جو کچھ کررہا ہے انسانوں کے ساتھ کررہاہے۔ مگر حقیقت یہ ہے کہ وہ جو کچھ کرر ہا ہوتا ہے وہ خدا کے ساتھ کررہا ہوتاہے۔ اگر یہ احساس زندہ ہو تو آدمی کبھی اس قسم کی بے اصولی کی جرأت نہ کرے۔
