عَٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ فَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ
[He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, so high is He above what they associate [with Him]
The nature of power is such that it does not tolerate division. If there are multiple power centres, each strives unceasingly to overpower the others. Now take a look at the universe. The stellar bodies follow their regime strictly and harmoniously. Had there been a separate god for every entity, each one would have distanced himself from the others along with his own part and no harmony would have existed among the different parts. Due to conflict among the various gods, the entire system of the universe would have been disturbed. Given the above, it is clear that the theory of the unity of Godhead is the Truth while the theory of polytheism stands discarded.
اقتدار کی یہ فطرت ہے کہ وہ تقسیم کو گوارا نہیں کرتا۔ انسانوں میں جب بھی کئی صاحب اقتدار ہوں تو وہ آپس میں ایک دوسرے کو زیر کرنے یا نیچا دکھانے کی کوشش میں لگے رہتے ہیں۔ حتی کہ جو قومیں مختلف دیوتاؤں کو مانتی ہیں ان کی میتھا لوجی میں کثرت سے دکھایا گیا ہے کہ ایک دیوتا اور دوسرے دیوتا میں لڑائیاں جاری ہیں۔
کائنات میں اس صورت حال کی موجود گی کہ اس کے ایک حصہ اور اس کے دوسرے حصہ میں کوئی ٹکراؤ نہیںہوتا، یہ اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ ہر حصہ کا خدا ایک ہی ہے۔ اگر ہر حصہ کے الگ الگ خداہوتے تو ہر حصہ کا خدا اپنے حصہ کو لے کر الگ ہوجاتا اور اس کے نتیجہ میں کائنات کے مختلف حصوں کی موجودہ ہم آہنگی باقی نہ رہتی۔ مختلف خداؤں کی کشاکش میں کائنات کا نظام درہم برہم ہوجاتا۔ایسی حالت میں توحید کا نظریہ سراپا سچائی ہے اور شرک کا نظریہ سراپا جھوٹ۔
