ذَٰلِكَۖ وَمَن يُعَظِّمۡ حُرُمَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ خَيۡرٞ لَّهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦۗ وَأُحِلَّتۡ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمُ إِلَّا مَا يُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ فَٱجۡتَنِبُواْ ٱلرِّجۡسَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَوۡثَٰنِ وَٱجۡتَنِبُواْ قَوۡلَ ٱلزُّورِ
That [has been commanded], and whoever honors the sacred ordinances of Allah - it is best for him in the sight of his Lord. And permitted to you are the grazing livestock, except what is recited to you. So avoid the uncleanliness of idols and avoid false statement
What is permitted (halal) and what is prohibited (haram); what is sacred and what is not; which way of worship are proper and which improper—all these matters have been made absolutely clear by God through His prophets. Any changes in these matters are not permissible. Any change made in these things is highly wrong, in the eyes of God. Therefore, it is necessary for man to follow the Prophet’s instructions. He should in no case increase or decrease what is prescribed by the Prophet. These are matters the reality of which is known only to God. When a man on his own says something on this subject, he virtually claims, in effect, to have knowledge about things of which he has no knowledge. Obviously, what wrong can be greater than this.
حلال کیا ہے اور حرام کیا ہے، کیا چیز مقدس ہے اور کیا چیز غیر مقدس، عبادت کے کون سے طریقے درست ہیں اور کون سے طریقے درست نہیں۔ یہ سب باتیں خدا نے اپنے پیغمبروں کے ذریعے واضح طورپر بتادی ہیں۔ ان میں کسی قسم کا تغیر وتبدل جائز نہیں۔ ہر تبدیلی جو بطور خود ان چیزوں میں کی جائے وہ اللہ کے نزدیک جھوٹ ہے، بلکہ وہ سب سے بڑا جھوٹ ہے۔ انسان کے لیے لازم ہے کہ ان چیزوں میں بالکل لفظی طورپر پیغمبرانہ تعلیمات کی پیروی کرے۔ وہ کسی حال میںان میں کوئی کمی بیشی نہ کرے۔
یہ امور وہ ہیں جن کی حقیقت صرف خدا کو معلوم ہے۔ آدمی جب ان میں اپنی طرف سے کوئی بات کہتا ہے تو وہ ایسی چیز کے بارے میں اپنی واقفیت کا دعویٰ کرتا ہے جس کی اسے کوئی واقفیت نہیں۔ ظاہر ہے کہ یہ جھوٹ ہے، بلکہ اتنا بڑا جھوٹ ہے کہ اس سے بڑا جھوٹ اور کوئی نہیں۔
