يَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا تَنفَعُ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَرَضِيَ لَهُۥ قَوۡلٗا
That Day, no intercession will benefit except [that of] one to whom the Most Merciful has given permission and has accepted his word
It is baseless to believe that recommendation in itself is effective. God, being fully aware of the condition of His subjects, needs no reports from others. Nor is He weak: He is not, therefore, amenable to pressures. However, under certain special circumstances, God Himself may be pleased to honour a request. On the Day of Judgement, real importance will be attached to what the individual has brought with him in terms of his piety, his good deeds and his personal virtues. One who has founded his life on untruth is bound to meet with failure in the Hereafter. There, only those will be successful who recognised their Lord—who remained invisible in this world—and who shaped their lives in accordance with His will and pleasure.
سفارش کا مستقل بالذا ت مؤثر ہونا سراسر باطل ہے۔خدا نہ تو بندوں کے احوال سے بے خبر ہے کہ کوئی اس کو کسی کے بارے میں بتائے اور نہ وہ کمزور ہے کہ کوئی اس پر دباؤ ڈال سکے۔ البتہ بعض خاص احوال میں خود اللہ تعالیٰ ہی کی یہ منشا ہوسکتی ہے کہ وہ کسی کی زبان سے جاری ہونے والی ایک قابلِ لحاظ درخواست کو عزت قبول عطا فرمائے۔
قیامت میں اصل اہمیت اس کی ہوگی کہ کون شخص خود کیا لے کر آیا ہے۔ جس شخص نے موجودہ دنیا میں اپنی زندگی ناحق پر کھڑی کی ہوگی اس کا آخرت میں ناکام ہونا یقینی ہے۔ وہاں صرف وہی لوگ کامیاب ہوں گے جنھوں نے حالت غیب میں اپنے رب کو پہچانا اور اپنی زندگی کو اس کی مرضی کے مطابق ڈھال لیا۔
