تَكَادُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرۡنَ مِنۡهُ وَتَنشَقُّ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَتَخِرُّ ٱلۡجِبَالُ هَدًّا
The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation
Belief in the existence of God’s children can be explained in either of two ways: that He is in need of assistants, or like ordinary people, He is desirous of having children. Both of these propositions are baseless. The construction of the earth and the heavens is so perfect that it is unimaginable that their Maker and Mover could be prone to such weaknesses as man evinces. The grand, majestic image of the Creator, projected by His creations themselves, is not at all compatible with the concept of God being in need of children.
خدا کے لیے اولاد ماننا دو وجہوں سے ہوسکتا ہے۔ یا تو یہ کہ خدا کو اپنے لیے مددگار کی ضرورت ہے۔ یا وہ عام انسانوں کی طرح اولاد کی تمنا رکھتا ہے۔ اس لیے اس نے اپنی اولاد بنائی ہے۔ یہ دونوں باتیں بے بنیاد ہیں۔
زمین وآسمان کی بناوٹ اتنی کامل ہے کہ یہ بالکل ناقابل تصور ہے کہ اس کو بنانے اور چلانے والا خدا ایسا ہو جو انسانوں کی طرح کی کمیاں اپنے اندر رکھتا ہو۔ مخلوقات اپنے خالق کا جو تعارف کرا رہی ہیں اس میں خدا کی اولاد کا تصور کسی طرح چسپاں نہیں ہوتا۔
