وَأَنذِرۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡحَسۡرَةِ إِذۡ قُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ وَهُمۡ فِي غَفۡلَةٖ وَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ
And warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness, and they do not believe
When a man meets with failure in this world, he has the opportunity to start his life afresh, and he feels himself fortunate to have friends and supporters who will offer him assistance. But, failure in the life hereafter allows of no chance of reversal. What keen regret a man feels when he learns that he had the opportunity to do what was right and proper, but did nothing until it was too late! The root cause of all evil is that man takes himself to be his own master, while the fact is that this life is only a transient period in his existence. God was the Lord of everything in the beginning and He will be the Lord of everything till the end. In truth, there is nobody but God who may hold the position of a master.
آدمی دنیا میں ناکامی سے دوچار ہوتا ہے تو اس کو موقع ہوتاہے کہ وہ دوبارہ نئی زندگی شروع کرسکے۔ اس کے پاس ساتھی اور مدد گار ہوتے ہیں جو اس کو سنبھالنے کے لیے کھڑے ہوجاتے ہیں۔ مگر آخرت کی ناکامی ایسی ناکامی ہے جس کے بعد دوبارہ سنبھلنے کاکوئی امکان نہیں۔ کیسا عجیب حسرت کا لمحہ ہوگا جب آدمی یہ جانے گا کہ وہ سب کچھ کرسکتا تھا مگر اس نے نہیں کیا۔ یہاں تک کہ کرنے کا وقت ہی ختم ہوگیا۔
ساری خرابیوں کی جڑ یہ ہے کہ آدمی یہ سمجھ لیتا ہے کہ وہ اپنا مالک آپ ہے۔ مگر حقیقت یہ ہے کہ یہ صرف ایک درمیانی وقفہ ہے۔ پہلے بھی صرف خدا تمام چیزوں کا مالک تھا اور آخر میں بھی یہ صرف خدا ہے جو تمام چیزوں کا مالک ہوگا۔ خداکے سوا کوئی نہیں جس کو یہاں حقیقی معنوں میں کوئی مالکانہ حیثیت حاصل ہو۔
