فَأَشَارَتۡ إِلَيۡهِۖ قَالُواْ كَيۡفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَن كَانَ فِي ٱلۡمَهۡدِ صَبِيّٗا
So she pointed to him. They said, "How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child
In spite of Mary’s pointing toward the child, the people could not understand how they were supposed to talk to a small child. At that time, the child himself started speaking. In his miraculous utterances, there was, on the one hand, complete absolution of Mary and, on the other, advance evidence of his prophethood, so that when he grew up and declared his prophethood, there should be no scope for any doubt about it.
حضرت مریم کے اشارہ کے باوجود یہود کی سمجھ میں نہیں آتا تھا کہ وہ ایک چھوٹے بچہ سے کس طرح بات کریں۔ اس وقت حضرت مسیح خود بول پڑے۔ ان کی معجزانہ گفتگو میں ایک طرف حضرت مریم کی کامل برأت تھی۔ دوسری طرف یہ ایک پیشگی شہادت تھی۔ تاکہ یہ نومولود جب بڑا ہو کر نبوت کا اعلان کرے تو لوگوں کے لیے آپ کی نبوت پر شک کرنے کی کوئی گنجائش باقی نہ رہے۔
