Then he followed a way
Dhu’l-Qarnayn’s next expedition was towards the east of Iran. He reached a place where a most uncivilised people were living. The description that there was no barrier (shelter) between them and the sun means perhaps that they were nomads and were living on open ground instead of in properly constructed houses.
ذوالقرنین کی دوسری مہم ایران کے مشرق کی طرف تھی۔ وہ فتوحات کرتا ہوا آگے بڑھا۔ یہاں تک کہ وہ ایسے مقام پر پہنچ گیا جہاںبالکل غیر متمدن لوگ بستے تھے۔ ’’ان کے اور آفتاب کے درمیان آڑ نہیں تھی‘‘ کا مطلب غالباً یہ ہے وہ خانہ بدوش تھے اور تعمیر شدہ مکانات میں رہنے کے بجائے کھلے میدانوں میں زندگی گزارتے تھے۔
