ٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ فَضَّلۡنَا بَعۡضَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖۚ وَلَلۡأٓخِرَةُ أَكۡبَرُ دَرَجَٰتٖ وَأَكۡبَرُ تَفۡضِيلٗا
Look how We have favored [in provision] some of them over others. But the Hereafter is greater in degrees [of difference] and greater in distinction
Be it in this world or in the Hereafter, success results from availing of the opportunities provided by God. For those who have made success in the life Hereafter the goal of their lives, God has made such dispositions as will facilitate the spiritual journey leading to that success in the next world. One can see that in this world some people are ahead of others, while some are lagging behind. Some have more and some have less. These are ways of telling us in the language of symbols, that there is no limit to opportunities in this world of God. The harder one works the more one achieves. Similarly, the more one is involved in Hereafter-oriented activities, the greater the reward one will receive in the Hereafter. Furthermore, whatever one receives in the next world will be eternal, while whatever one receives in this world will be ephemeral in nature.
دنیا کی کامیابی ہو یا آخرت کی کامیابی، دونوں ہی اللہ کے فراہم کيے ہوئے مواقع اور انتظامات کو استعمال کرنے کا دوسرا نام ہیں۔ جو شخص دنیا کی کامیابی حاصل کرتا ہے وہ بھی خدا کے انتظامات سے فائدہ اٹھا کر ایسا کرتاہے۔ اسی طرح جو شخص آخرت کو اپنا مقصود بنائے اس کے لیے بھی خدا نے ایسے انتظامات کررکھے ہیں جو اس کے آخرت کے سفر کو آسان بنانے والے ہیں۔
دنیا میں کوئی آدمی آگے نظر آتا ہے اور کوئی پیچھے۔ کسی کے پاس زیادہ ہے اور کسی کے پاس کم۔ یہ اس بات کی علامت ہے کہ خدا کی دنیا میں مواقع کی کوئی حد نہیں۔ دنیا میں جو شخص جتنا زیادہ عمل کرتاہے وہ اتنا زیادہ اس کا پھل پاتا ہے۔ اسی طرح آخرت کے لیے جو شخص جتنا زیادہ عمل کا ثبوت دے گا وہ اتنا ہی زیادہ انعام وہاں پائے گا۔ مزید یہ کہ آخرت میں ملنے والی چیز ابدی ہوگی جب کہ دنیا میں ملنے والی چیز صرف وقتی ہوتی ہے۔
