وَلَكُمۡ فِيهَا جَمَالٌ حِينَ تُرِيحُونَ وَحِينَ تَسۡرَحُونَ
And for you in them is [the enjoyment of] beauty when you bring them in [for the evening] and when you send them out [to pasture]
Man’s life begins from a humble fluid. But when man grows up, he tries to take a stand in opposition to God. If he were to keep in view the reality of his origin, he would never allow himself to become arrogant in this world. Animals, in particular, cattle, are among the various bounties with which man has been blessed in the present world. These are just like living machines of nature that are engaged in catering to the various requirements of man. Cows consume grass and fodder and convert them into meat and milk for his consumption. Sheep produce wool on their bodies which is used for his clothing. The owner of these animals includes them in his assets and this enhances his prestige. ‘He creates other things beyond your knowledge’ refers to those benefits that are available through sources other than animals. A part of these other sources was available to man even in ancient times. Man has discovered the major part of it in modern times and, for instance, is utilizing machines in place of animals. Man’s innumerable worldly endowments have not been created by him but have been provided for him by God. This shows that the Creator of this world is a kind Creator. Thus it necessarily follows that man should be grateful to his Creator and discharge the obligations due to Him as his Benefactor.
انسان کا آغاز ایک حقیر مادہ سے ہوتاہے۔ مگر انسان جب بڑا ہوتا ہے تو وہ خدا کا مد مقابل بننے کی کوشش کرتاہے۔ وہ خدا کی کائنات میں بے خدا بن کر رہنا چاہتاہے۔ اگر انسان اپنی ابتدائی حقیقت کو نظر میں رکھے تو کبھی وہ زمین میں سرکشی کا رویہ اختیار نہ کرے۔
انسان کو موجودہ دنیا میں جو نعمتیں حاصل ہیں ان میں سے ایک چوپائے ہیں۔ یہ گویا قدرت کی زندہ مشینیں ہیں جو انسان کی مختلف ضروریات فراہم کرنے میں لگی ہوئی ہیں۔ یہ چوپائے گھاس اور چارہ کھاتے ہیں۔ اور ان کو انساني خوراک کے لیے گوشت اور دودھ میں تبدیل کرتے ہیں۔ وہ اپنے جسم پر بال اور اون نکالتے ہیں جن سے آدمی اپنی پوشاک بناتاہے۔ وہ انسان کو اور اس کے سامان کو ایک جگہ سے اٹھا کر دوسری جگہ پہنچاتے ہیں۔ ان چوپایوں کا گلہ آدمی کے اثاثہ میں شامل ہو کر اس کی حیثیت اور شان میں اضافہ کرتاہے۔
’’اور خدا ایسی چیزیں پیدا کرتا ہے جن کو تم نہیں جانتے‘‘۔ اس سے مراد وہ فائدے ہیں جو چوپایوں کے علاوہ دوسرے ذرائع سے حاصل ہوتے ہیں۔ ان دوسرے ذرائع کا ایک حصہ قدیم زمانہ میں بھی انسان کو حاصل تھا۔ اور ان کا بڑا حصہ موجودہ زمانہ میں دریافت کرکے انسان ان سے فائدہ اٹھا رہاہے۔ مثال کے طور پر جانور کی جگہ مشین۔
دنیا میں انسان کے لیے جوبے شمار نعمتیں ہیں وہ انسان نے خود نہیں بنائی ہیں بلکہ وہ خدا کی طرف سے اس کے لیے مہیا کی گئی ہیں۔ اس سے ظاہر ہوتاہے کہ اس دنیا کا خالق ایک مہربان خالق ہے۔ اس کا تقاضا ہے کہ انسان اپنے خالق کا شکر گزار بنے اور اس کا حق اداکرے جو محسن ہونے کی حیثیت سے اس کے اوپر لازم آتاہے۔
