وَلَقَدۡ بَعَثۡنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٖ رَّسُولًا أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱجۡتَنِبُواْ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتَۖ فَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ هَدَى ٱللَّهُ وَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ حَقَّتۡ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُۚ فَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid Taghut." And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers
At some points God sent his prophets directly to mankind and at other points He arranged to convey His message indirectly through the deputies of prophets and their representatives. All of them advised man that God alone is entitled to be worshipped and prayed to. Satan tries to dissuade or divert man from such worship and prayer. Therefore, man should save himself from satanic inducements; otherwise he will be pushed into worshipping false gods. Though divine guidance is clear, its acceptance or rejection depends upon the extent of man’s seriousness about it. One who gives serious consideration to guidance will not take long to find the truth. But one who is not serious about it will remain enmeshed in trivial issues. Such a person can never find the Truth.
خدا نے کہیں براہِ راست اپنے پیغمبر بھیجے اور کہیں پیغمبر کے نائب اور نمائندہ کے ذریعہ بالواسطہ طورپر اپنا پیغام پہنچانے کا انتظام کیا۔ ان تمام لوگوں نے انسان کو جس چیز کی تلقین کی وہ یہی تھی کہ عبادت کا حق صرف ایک خدا کو ہے۔ شیطان اس عبادت سے انسان کو پھیرنے کی کوشش کرتا ہے، اس لیے آدمی کو چاہیے کہ وہ شیطانی ترغیبات سے بچے۔ ورنہ وہ آدمی کو جھوٹے معبودوں کی پرستش کے راستے پر ڈال دے گا۔
ہدایت اگر چہ واضح ہے۔ مگر اس کو قبول کرنے یا نہ کرنے کا انحصار تمام تر اس بات پر ہے کہ آدمی اس کے بارے میں کتنا سنجیدہ ہے۔ جو شخص ہدایت پر سنجیدگی کے ساتھ غور کرے گا اس کو اس کی صداقت کو پانے میں دیر نہیں لگے گی۔ مگر جو شخص اس کے بارے میں سنجیدہ نہ ہو وہ معمولی معمولی باتوں پر اٹک کر رہ جائے گا۔ ایسا آدمی کبھی حق کو نہیں پاسکتا۔
