إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَواْ وَّٱلَّذِينَ هُم مُّحۡسِنُونَ
Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good
This verse indicates the character traits to be displayed by the dayee while facing up to his opponents. However, God says that if he is too sorely afflicted—allowing for human weakness in him as in other mortals, he is permitted to repay his tormentors in kind. But strictly speaking, the dayee is supposed to exercise patience whenever his addressees create trouble for him. Instead of adopting a retaliatory approach, he should leave all such issues to God. If the addressee does not accept the Truth, being bent rather on destroying the dayee and his mission, then the best course to be adopted by him is that of patience, i.e. avoiding reaction or retaliatory actions, he should continue conveying the message of Truth in a positive manner. The missionary has really to prove that, in fact, he is always conscious of God. If he proves this, then thereafter in all other matters, God becomes sufficient for him. After that no device of his opponents can harm him. However, strong his opponents may be. There are two kinds of human beings in this world. One is entirely focused on man and his activities, while the other is entirely focused on God. The latter see the powers of God with their own eyes. The former is never able to have control over impatience and anger. It is only the second type of person who can bear complaints and suffer bitterness and, for the sake of whatever he is going to receive from God, ignore whatever is meted out to him by his fellow men. The dayee must not have a vengeful mentality, and must abstain from retaliatory action. The conspiracies and devices of his opponents are likely to make him afraid that they may completely derail the call of Truth and destroy the preacher himself. But whatever the circumstances, he has to rely on God; he is required to have the firm belief that God sees everything and that He will support the Truth and defeat the falsehood.
یہاں داعی کا وہ کردار بتایا گیاہے جو مخالفین کے مقابلہ میں اس کو اختیار کرنا ہے۔ فرمایا کہ اگر مخالفین کی طرف سے ایسی تکلیف پہنچے جس کو تم برداشت نہ کرسکو تو تم کو اتنا ہی کرنے کی اجازت ہے جتنا تمھارے ساتھ کیا گیاہے۔ تاہم یہ اجازت صرف انسان کی کمزوری کو دیکھتے ہوئے بطور رعایت ہے۔ ورنہ داعی کا اصل کردار تو یہ ہونا چاہیے کہ وہ مدعو کی طرف سے پیش آنے والی ہر تکلیف پر صبر کرے۔ وہ مدعوسے حساب چکانے کے بجائے ایسے تمام معاملات کو خداکے خانہ میں ڈال دے۔
مخاطب اگر حق کو نہ مانے۔ وہ اس کو مٹانے کے درپے ہو جائے تواس وقت داعی کو سب سے بڑی تدبیر جو کرنی ہے وہ صبر ہے۔ یعنی ردعمل کی نفسیات یا جوابی کارروائیوں سے بچتے ہوئے مثبت طورپر حق کا پیغام پہنچاتے رہنا۔ داعی کو اصلاً جو ثبوت دینا ہے وہ یہ کہ وہ فی الواقع اللہ سے ڈرنے والا ہے۔ اس کے اندر وہ کردار پیدا ہوچکا ہے جو ا س وقت پیدا ہوتاہے جب کہ آدمی دنیا کے پردوں سے گزر کر خدا کو اس کی چھپی ہوئی عظمتوں کے ساتھ دیکھ لے۔ اگر داعی یہ ثبوت دے دے تو اس کے بعد بقیہ امور میں خدا اس کی طرف سے کافی ہوجاتا ہے۔ اس کے بعد دعوت کے مخالفین کی کوئی تدبیر داعی کو نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکتی، خواہ وہ تدبیر کتنی ہی بڑی کیوں نہ ہو۔
دنیا میں دو قسم کے انسان ہوتے ہیں۔ ایک وہ جن کی نگاہیں انسانوں میں اٹکی ہوئی ہوں۔ جن کو بس انسانوں کی کارروائیاں دکھائی دیتی ہوں۔ دوسرے وہ لوگ جن کی نگاہیں خدا میں اٹکی ہوئی ہوں۔ جو خدا کی طاقتوں کو اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھ رہے ہوں۔ پہلی قسم کے لوگ کبھی صبر پر قادر نہیں ہوسکتے۔ یہ صرف دوسری قسم کے انسان ہیں جن کے لیے یہ ممکن ہے کہ وہ شکایتوں اور تلخیوں کو سہہ لیں۔ اور جو کچھ خدا کی طرف سے ملنے والا ہے اس کی خاطر اس کو نظر انداز کردیں جو انسان کی طرف سے مل رہاہے۔
داعی کو جس طرح جوابی نفسیات سے پرہیز کرنا ہے اسی طرح اس کو جوابی کارروائی سے بھی اپنے آپ کو بچانا ہے۔ مخالفین کی سازشیں اور تدبیریں بظاہر ڈراتی ہیں کہ کہیں وہ دعوت اور داعی کو تہس نہس نہ کر ڈالیں۔ مگر داعی کو ہر حال میں خدا پر بھروسہ رکھنا ہے۔ اس کو یہ یقین رکھنا ہے کہ خدا سب کچھ دیکھ رہا ہے۔ اور وہ یقینا ً دعوت حق کا ساتھ دے کر باطل پرستوں کو ناکام بنا دے گا۔
