ord, make me and my descendents steadfast in prayer. Lord, accept my prayer. Forgive me, Lord, and forgive my parents and all the faithful on the Day of Reckoning. (14: 40-41) Lord, have mercy on them both (i.e., my parents) as they cherished and cared for me when I was a little child. (17:24)
