elievers, when you are summoned to Friday prayer, hasten to the remembrance of God and cease your trading. That would be best for you, if you but knew it. Then, when the prayer is ended, disperse and go your ways in quest of God’s bounty. Remember God always, so that you may prosper. But when they see some merchandise or passing delight, they flock to it eagerly, leaving you1 alone. Say: “That which God has in store is far better than and passing delight or merchandise. God is the best of providers.” (62:9-11)
