Principle 59 — All Human Beings Are Brothers

The Prophet of Islam said, “O God, I bear witness that all humans are brothers and sisters to each other.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith No. 1508) This tradition explains the basis of human relationships. According to this, people all over the world are like one family. Everyone should treat others the same way as they treat their brothers and sisters. This is the principle of a global community. This principle eliminates the division between us and them. This principle binds the entire human race in a stronger relationship, and no other relationship is stronger than this.
